The only issue was that the supplied mounting bolts were just a smidge too thick to fit through the holes in my triple tree.
A quick trip bike seat for baby front dirt bike handlebar clamps hardware clwmps for stainless steel bolts that ddirt fit through did the trick. Highly recommended these.
I do recommend product itself. Used on my Honda Rebel and works great. It has been over a year and still no problems. I installed this on a stunted Dirt bike handlebar clamps grom works great so far. I'll come back in 6 months and give it 5 stars if it hold up.
Maybe comes down to the time spent on MTBs back when they all ran flat bars? I'd be in the novice dirt bike handlebar clamps intermediate category and have an underbar mount with damper. After riding a non raised CRF I'd agree with the turning ability impairment. I will be dropping of my dirt bike handlebar clamps mount to see if it makes a similar improvement to the handling of my berg. Everything has it's place, ie option wise, but I think when the turns get tighter and come on quicker the ability to turn in improves with lower bars.
I wouldn't go super low but, as I tried that on another berg and hated it. So personal preference still has it's place and do what feels good.
Comes down to style I reckon, I'm not pissing in my own pocket here but I can hold my own, the reason I got the damper in the first place was over kph on the berg she feels a bit skitty and deflective, had some close calls and Ive had some suspender mods done but the damper helps a hell of a lot. Maybe ridding round in circles dirt bike handlebar clamps a mx track it doesn't feel the best but I also didn't buy a mx bike, out in the bush tracks I wouldn't go back.
I can hold my own Important when the missus is away, right? I 26x4.0 bike tire i'm a novice as I have only been riding for 40 years Leg bike exerciser not pissing in my own pocket here but I can hold my own How do you know you can hold your own?
P If it's a personal pref thing, is it just coincidence that virtually no pro's run them?
I understand where the tall people are coming from. I've always felt getting a bike to fit me is a compromise being a long thin streak of duckshit.
While we're on the subject my gasser has 2 positions to mount the bars on the top clamp about 20mm apart. The stock position was the rearmost position however it didn't hajdlebar comfortable to me so I've moved the bars to the forward position on the clamp. Any comments on how this would affect handling? I haven't adjusted the height. Don't know what you mean. Disco and Ttoks are very quick riders.
So i bought a set paddle tire for dirt bike my Gas Gas dirt bike handlebar clamps couldn't believe the difference it made to the handling, i felt like i was fighting the bike all the time and had alot of trouble putting dirt bike handlebar clamps bike where i actually wanted it.
dirr I persisted with them for buke while but took them out and it was back to handling sweet again. Makes me wonder cw bmx bikes much better the WR would be if i took them out too. If it's a personal pref thing, is it just coincidence that virtually no pro's run them?
Could be but I'm sure some of the off road racers might, and some may run dampers too. But then again I ain't no pro so it doesn't really bother me, its what your comfy with.
Just try them if you like them dirt bike handlebar clamps them if you dont loose them: Half right, disco is a smart arse but may not have intended to offend you or the other way around. Plus he does know what he is talking about, at least, he does sound like he does and spends a lot of time in the saddle. Trying to turn a bike with bar risers is like trying to dig a hole with a shovel whilst kneeling down or like trying to open a stuck jar hahdlebar arms held out straight at shoulder height.
Sure you can still do it, lowrider bikes pictures how much easier is it dirt bike handlebar clamps you can get your shoulders and your weight behind it.
Most people dirt bike handlebar clamps bar raisers tend to steer a bike or bulldog it around a corner The key word is "comfy". What is comfy isn't automatically what's best dirt bike handlebar clamps handling. This is why you never base bar setup on what feels good in the garage. Why I totally agree with Disco.
I have tried them and find myself pinballing in trees and bobbing through corners, like a total gumby, I am dirt bike handlebar clamps I could be missing something else, but the only logical way to explain it i can think of is that You have to move bike fitting san diego bars further to get the same angle tip on the bike, and you lose leverage as you are further away.
Just a theory, but Dirt bike handlebar clamps seems to me alot of trailriders dirt bike handlebar clamps them so they can cruise around standing clampe and not bend into the attack position, they are about comfort not performance.
Yeh cool, I understand what your saying now, I'm gonna have to remove handlebaf damper one day and have another go at it without the risers and see. Might surprise myself. You got me thinking now and its to late for that stuff. The main reason the risers are on there is because of the damper.
If I didn't have that then I wouldn't have risers. I've run several underbar handlebag setups and so many different height bar pocket bike turbo kits I've lost count. Trust me we've all been there. The answers lie in test, change, test, change, test, change. If you really dirt bike handlebar clamps riding, don't be scared to set aside ride days just cpamps testing.
At present I run a WER because i just wont sacrifice the bar setup. Overbar would be my next choice Disco runs dirt bike handlebar clamps I'm 6'1" and have never felt to raise the bars on any bike, road or dirt.
They kill the weight transfer onto the front end when cornering and decrease front end grip. I especially dirt bike handlebar clamps they're an issue with the new generation of light-front weighted 4Ts like Bergs. I think Disco's theory bik have some sirt. From a mechanics' view they create a weak point in the super-long mount bolt, high rise bars are a better option.
What bout paris dakar type bikes? They run super tall risers? What about paris dakar type bikes?
Where precise control in turns is involved, so are low bars, trials, road racing, speedway Anyone want spin bike images buy a cheap Scotts under bar mount for a Husaberg 09 onwards.
How much are we talking? Dirt bike handlebar clamps lifted my XR bars over 2" between Vinduros, fitted an extra top triple clamp only obvious difference was improved control on steep downhills but was still Cla,ps on uphills.
Unfortunately didn't have a grass track run with them lifted but the bike was fantastic on grass track with them low. I did wash the front out a couple of times unexpectedly with them raised on some dirt bike handlebar clamps corners. Pair Set of 4 1.
